JOB SUMMARY:

The Promotional Planning Analyst I provides foundational operational support for the execution, tracking, and maintenance of omni-channel marketing promotions.

Working under direct supervision, this entry-level role is primarily responsible for ensuring high data integrity through accurate system data entry, coordinating weekly ad production timelines, and supporting the administrative workflow for in-store and digital promotional campaigns.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in execution of accurate and efficient promotion activities including Signs & Tags, Ad planning and POS Promotion execution, Offer Management, Promotions Optimization and Vendor Relationship Management
• Provide promotional support activities for advertising materials
• Support end-to-end weekly ad production, ensuring accuracy of pricing, items, and creative​
• Partner with Data Integrity, Pricing and Category Management Teams to ensure effective, cohesive representation of value proposition to our customers
• Partner with the Analytics team to leverage insights for traffic-driving, basket-building promotions​
• Partner with appropriate teammates to evaluate promotional performance to inform future campaigns​
• Monitor competition ad and promotional strategies, stay on top of customer trends and the changing needs and wants of customers
• Understands our brand and brings awareness to opportunities where there are not consistent brand messaging and positioning across all promotional channels​
• Model company values in authentic and caring ways that support the brand promise and strengthen team collaboration
• Perform other duties and assignments as needed 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Experience in Retail, Promo Planning, Pricing, Data Integrity, Merchandising, Procurement or related field preferred
• Functional capability in all Microsoft applications; Excel skills a plus
• Basic knowledge of digital/interactive marketing channels and strategies
• Demonstrate a growth mindset and actively foster a team culture of continuous learning, innovation, and calculated risk-taking
• Good communicator using both written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from inside and outside the Company
